UPPER WEST REGION TAKES A BOLD STEP TOWARDS ENHANCED GOVERNANCE WITH 2026 PERFORMANCE CONTRACT SIGNING.

In a remarkable display of commitment towards fostering accountability and improving service delivery, the Upper West Regional Minister, Charles Lwanga Puozuing Esq., addressed distinguished attendees at the signing of the 2026 Performance Contract held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) Conference. The event saw the participation of Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), presiding members, as well as heads of various departments, all convening to mark a crucial milestone in the region’s governance framework.

The 2026 Performance Contract, which serves as a vital component of the Government’s Performance Management System, is designed to translate national and regional development priorities into actionable and measurable commitments at the Assembly level.
