Hon Amidu Chinnia Issahaku was born on 20th may, 1978 in Techiman hospital of the Brong- Ahafo region.  He comes from Bugubelle, in the Sissala East District of the Upper West Region.   He obtained his First Degree from the University of Development Studies (UDS Tamale campus).

Hon Amidu Chinnia Issahaku is a teacher by profession.  He is currently serving as the Deputy Regional Minister of the Upper West Region.  He is married with one wife and three children.
