In a momentous celebration held on November 22, 2025, the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) proudly hosted its 4th Congregation Ceremony. The event featured Hon. Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, Deputy Minister for Education, as the representative of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana.
During his speech, the President commended the university for its role in enhancing educational opportunities and bridging the development gap between northern Ghana and the rest of the country. He emphasized the importance of research in university education and the government’s commitment to supporting academic excellence through the establishment of the National Research Fund.
Graduates were encouraged to utilize their degrees to tackle pressing national challenges and contribute to Ghana’s development. The ceremony also celebrated the critical support of parents, faculty, and stakeholders in nurturing the next generation of leaders.
