In an inspiring show of governance and leadership, the Lawra Municipal Assembly convened its Second Ordinary Meeting on Friday, 31st October 2025. The Acting Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing Esq., delivered a comprehensive address highlighting the significant strides and strategic plans undertaken by the Assembly for the betterment of the municipality.
One of the key announcements made during the meeting was the appointment of Madam Cecilia Soyelleh as the new Chief Executive for the Lawra Municipal Assembly, pending approval by the house. Administratively, the Assembly witnessed some changes with the posting of Mr. Emmanuel Alhassan as the new Municipal Finance Officer and the departure of Mr. Francis Sungnanaah and Mr. Jacob Diboro from their respective positions. These changes aim to strengthen financial management and enhance revenue mobilization within the municipality.
Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing Esq. provided a comprehensive overview of the progress and initiatives across various sectors in the municipality.
