The occasion, graced by the Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing, Esq., the esteemed Upper West Regional Minister, was a celebration of faith, culture, and linguistic heritage.

In his address, the regional minister hailed the translation of the Holy Scriptures into Dagaare as a profound act of faith and inclusivity. The theme of the event, “We heard them speak in our language,” echoed the universal accessibility of God’s message, transcending barriers of geography, ethnicity, and language.

The translation of the Dagaare Bible represents a culmination of divine will, human dedication, scholarship, and faith. It symbolizes a continuation of the sacred mandate to make the Word of God accessible to all believers in their native tongue. This monumental work not only enriches the spiritual landscape but also advances cultural preservation, literacy, and education in the region.

The Regional Minister commended the translators and sponsors for their commitment to enriching the Church and promoting values essential for a peaceful and progressive society. He emphasized the government’s support for partnerships with faith-based organizations and highlighted initiatives aimed at promoting community safety and responsible citizenship, including the Gun Amnesty Initiative.

Furthermore, he reiterated the government’s commitment to collaboration with faith-based institutions in education, healthcare, and social welfare. He emphasized the crucial role of Ghana’s moral and spiritual foundations in advancing justice, peace, and prosperity.

The launch of the Complete Dagaare Bible serves as a call to responsibility for believers to let the Word penetrate their hearts, influence their actions, and guide their lives. It is a reminder of the enduring power of righteousness, truth, humility, and faith in a world challenged by materialism and moral decay.

As the Dagaare Bible is dedicated to the glory of God, the regional minister extended heartfelt congratulations to all involved in this noble endeavor, acknowledging their tireless work in ensuring that future generations can read the Scriptures in their mother tongue.

In conclusion, the launch of the Complete Dagaare Bible stands as a testament to the unity of faith, culture, and language, embodying a legacy that will transcend generations to come. The event serves as a beacon of hope, renewal, and peace for the Upper West Region and beyond.
