The Office of the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council held it’s expanded Regional Coordinating Council meeting on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024, at the Regional Library conference hall in Wa Municipal.
The Upper West Regional Minister, Hon Stephen Yakubu presented the state of the region to the members of the council which covered areas such as security, governance, health, education, agriculture and water, and sanitation.
The RCC meeting is organized every year in fulfillment of article 255 of the 1992 constitution and section 191 (1) of the Local Governance Act, 2026 (Act 939.
