The Upper West Region is poised for a technological leap as Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing Esq., Regional Minister, has officially received essential materials for the Rural Telephony Project. This initiative aims to extend mobile network coverage to 56 underserved communities, significantly enhancing communication, education, and healthcare access.
Following a successful drive test that pinpointed areas needing connectivity, land acquisition is complete, thanks to the cooperation of community leaders. As we advance to the installation phase, this project is set to transform rural life, facilitating better emergency responses and fostering local business growth.
