In an inspiring ceremony that highlights the pivotal role of graduate students in forging Ghana’s future, the Upper West Regional Minister, Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozing Esq., officially inaugurated the Graduate Students\u2019 Association (GRASAG) Week Celebration 2026 at the University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS) in Wa.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Under the banner of this year’s theme, \u201cReimagining Development: Graduate Voices for Peace, Innovation, Inclusion, and Sustainability,\u201d Hon. Puozing emphasized the significant contributions of graduate scholars in addressing contemporary global challenges. He urged students to fully embrace their roles as thinkers, innovators, and advocates for peace, adding that the development agenda must prioritize inclusivity and sustainability.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cYour voices matter,\u201d he urged, motivating attendees to actively participate in national dialogues and utilize their academic expertise to tackle urgent societal issues. The minister also reiterated his commitment, along with the Regional Coordinating Council, to support initiatives that empower youth and foster academic excellence.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
