MANAGEMENT OF HILLA LIMAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY COMMENDS UPPER WEST REGIONAL MINISTER.

The management of Hilla Liman Technical University has acknowledged and recognised the pivotal role played by the Upper West Regional Minister Dr Hafiz Bin Salih in converting the Wa Polytechnic into a Technical University.

The commendation came when the management of the Technical University led by the Vice Rector, Professor Insah Baba  paid a courtesy call on the Regional Minister in his office to thank the Minister for the role he played in bringing developmental projects to the school and converting the Polytechnic into a Technical University. The PRO for the institution, Mr Zakaria  Abdul-Rahaman, indicated that, when the management of the school visited the Minister in 2019, he assured them that, the conversion of Wa Polytechnic into a Technical University and the UDS Wa campus autonomy was going to see the light of the day under his tenure as  Regional Minister. He indicated that, the Minister’s assurance has come to pass and that he deserves nothing but commendation for his support and hard work. He added that a contractor is currently on site constructing the campus roads which he believes would give the school a face lift.

The management also used the opportunity to appeal to the Minister for school hostels to accommodate students.

The Upper West Regional Minister Dr Hafiz Bin Salih assured them of his continues support and that of the RCC in developmenting  the Technical University. He noted that, it was his duty as Regional Minister to ensure that the region gets its first share of the national development especially in Agriculture, Health and Education.
